On XP (service pack 3) I upgraded from VLC 1.1.11 to version 2.0 and straightaway I experienced video problems. Every video I tried shows vertical grey lines. I tried, in Tools/Preferences/Video, every combination of settings as suggested elsewhere on the web, to no avail. I reinstated version 1.1.11 and all videos display correctly again.
Any suggestions? I can't find any specific mention of this problem in VLC 2.0 via Google.
