All burning programs have stopped working

I'm desperate for help. All of my burning programs have stopped working. I'm running vista ulimate. When i try to run any of the programs they barely get through a fraction of the decryption process and windows says the program has stopped working. I can't even get to the burning part. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and how to fix it?

What programs are you using? What, if any, changes have you made recently? Are you logged on as an administrator? The more info you provide the better help you will receive. ;)

You may be download a program(s) that are interfiering with other programs.....System Restore will do the trick. Just Choose the date that you are thinking your computer was working ok.

Before doing any kind of system restore, please give us more details.

I am using nero, covert x to dvd and express burn. I am running as administrator. I did a full system restore and the programs are still shutting down
