Hi guys i have been using nero for 2 years now to burn my dvds but now i am getting a bit pissed off with it, you see i only have a laptop and nero seems to slow it down to a crawl every time i burn a movie, so i want i light and fast dvd burning programme that will not slow my laptop down when i use it, ant suggestions will be very gratefull.

ImgBurn is a favorite of many around here. It is the continuation of the burning engine from DVD Decrypter, by the author of DVD Decrypter.

Years ago I only used Nero for burning and transcoding. I had to pay for it, and had nothing but problems with it.

I agree with the above poster. Imgburn is a lot better software to use for burning, and it's very lightweight and free too. And there a lot of really good free programs out there for editing/authoring files instead of Nero.
