I have searched here and read guides but still feel lost. I have dvd files on my computer that are taking up too much space but my dvd burner crashed and I only have a cd burner now. My dvd player plays divx videos so shouldn't it still work if I put the divx files on cd if it'll fit? I have to figure out how to get the movies to fit onto the cd, I'm assuming if I convert it to divx or avi (whichever is smallest compression)that would make it fit on cd but trying to use the free divx converter it gives me error messages saying something about constant frame rate with the vob files, and unsupported with the bup and ifo files. What is the easiest program (free or not) that can make the movies fit onto a cd or the best way to go about putting movies on cd's? Thanks for any help.
get another dvd burner & try your dvd burner on another pc to see if burner is at fault or your burner program is the problem.
