copying my movies

I have question / problem im copying(backing up a lot of my movies and my sons. Only bout half of them play the other half skip when they play

Im using verbatim dvd+r

MY dvd burner is lite-on dvdrw sohw-1693s
I burn all my dvd's at the lowest speed to

My dvd is and it says on the player that it plays -r and +r

so what could be the problem any help would be great thanks alot

Are you authoring a DVD or simply burning a data disk?
What programs are you using?

 

dvd shrink is the only program i use i extract it and then burn it using dvd shrink

 

Rip the disk with DVDFab HD Decrypter before using DVD shrink.
