dvd fab wont back up movies after computer crash

My computer crashed a few days ago ,i have windows back up and everything is good except
all my programs are gone ,i have reinstalled dvd fab but i get an error message saying
"failed to burn" ,i used to have emgburn so i am wondering if i should download that .
i read the reviews and a lot of people are saying it could have a virus. I am confused can some one help me with this problem?? Thanks for anyone reading this.

dvdfab isnt a virus but if you download it from a dodgey site it could contain a virus.
imgburn is free to download and works and is not a virus.
your computer probably had a virus on which caused it to crash.

i have the big screen tv,a ps3 and 5.1 channel surround sound.car still runs smooth and computer still works but its a bit outdated.
