Just burnt a DVD using ConvertXtoDVD, the file on my PC plays fine, the disc I burnt it to plays fine on my laptop using VLC, it plays fine on my cheapo chinese portable player in the bedroom but on my expensive Blu Ray player in the lounge it always freezes at the same point! Grrrrrr! Any ideas why?
because your expensive player is really a dirt cheap far east lump of junk with an expensive brand painted on the front.. they design them to die real quick so you run out and buy another... and another... and another... cheap and nasty usually are marketed on a "buy once.. too much competition for repeat business" strategy.. and last and last and last.. I have a dansai dvd player from 1997 going strong.. plays all disks too... even -rw it's well known that for standalone optical format players the cheapest are the best.. burn another disk.. probably just crap cheapo disks the lack of people with basic 2+2 skills is frightening these days..
