Hi, I hope someone can tell em where I am going wrong!

I have been saving video to burn to DVD and have had varying levels of success.

The video is initially then created in a Video editing program (EditStudio) and 'built' into a DVD file before being shrunk in DVDShrink and burned to a DVD.

At each step I am careful to ensure that the screen display properties are set to 16:9 yet for some reason when the DVD is played back on a widescreen TV there is a large black border top and bottom and the picture is squashed.

Earlier attempts were successful and I do not know what it is I am doing differently or what project propery has changed.

    Any ideas?

    thanks,

    Roger

    Hi & Thanks..

I have read the article and must admit I am confused, but should say the recorded videos were taken from a Digital TV card rather than theatrical films.

I will try unticking the 16:9 properties and see what difference it makes, since the same TV broadcasts have been played back full size on a 26:9 TV.

    Thanks,

    Roger
