I would like to eliminate the sound on a dvd I have recorded and have as aa *.VOB files.

Secondly,if possible, I would also like to insert a musical track on top of the video.

    Is this possibe?

If so, what programs would I need?

    Thanks

You can rip the DVD to a folder using DVDFab HD decrypter.

Demux the movie into separate video, audio (and possibly subtitles and chapters) using PgcDemux.

The new audio has to be an .ac3 file (should be the same running time as the video).

Mux the video from PgcDemux and the new audio (and possibly subtitles and chapters) using MuxMan.

You end up with a new DVD movie.
