Site update - March 16th 2010

AfterDawn.com has been updated! In addition to renewing the layout of the site we have also speeded up things considerably. The new version has been tested on our Finnish site for several months, and during the testing we have managed to improve the new version even further.

You can now enjoy this new layout at English AfterDawn.com and English Discussion Forums as well! We have also introduced new sections to the site, and re-arranged things a bit.

Read more about the update and let us know what you think!

How do I completely remove Anydvd?!?

#1 19 Oct 2009 @ 20:53
It just keeps telling me that my trial has expired after doing an update. So I've tried uninstalling it and just going straight from the update but now its being all screwy on me. I know theres a hidden file that needs to be removed manually but can't remember the name. Can anyone help me out with this? Need to get the latest version running right so I can back up Transformers 2. Thanks

If you want to Uninstal it a 100%: Just click on "Start" > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > ( find AnyDVD on the list), and click "Remove"....it's all.

Now if you want to download the "New Vertion", you do not need to Unistalled, the new vertion will take over automaticly.

datboytaz:

If your AnyDVD program is been there since few weeks ago and maybe it was one of your last programs you download: You can erase it by doing System-Restore to a date before you get it into your PC.

But you have to have in mind that you could lose some programs that you may be download from right after you get AnyDVD till today.........Anyway you can get them download back down again. Your files will stay, but you "others" programs don't.

I know, Your issue is a big headache that's why I do not like AnyDVD.

The program information is in the registry. You can't just uninstall/install a newer version and expect another 21 days of free trial. My first answer is a way to erase all record. Do a Google search for this program.

Closed. Use the 21day trial once, then buy it or use an alternative. Either way we won't entertain methods for circumventing trial versions.
