E 22:19:02 Operation Failed! - Duration: 00:15:12 I 22:19:02 Average Write Rate: 4,723 KB/s (3.4x) - Maximum Write Rate: 5,577 KB/s (4.0x) _____ What seems to be the problem? i tried reading similar problems but i cant i could not understand some steps. _____ ***** 1. upgraded to Verbatim media - just do it, toss the memorex. 2. upgraded burner firmware 3. uninstalled and reinstalled IDE controllers (i still have 2 primary IDE channels and zero secondary, but it works so what can i say) 4. made sure IDE controllers transfer mode was set to 'DMA if available' 5. upgraded to latest version of imgburn. 6. in imgburn, since my media was 2.4x, i had trouble with selecting AUTO, so instead just picked burn at 2.4x. Worked fine. ***** ____ I'm not a techie person and i cant understand step 1 to 4. Help please?
Buy some Verbatim brand DVD+R DL disks and burn one to see if it's the media that's causing the problem.
Okies, i think that will hurt me a bit(money).ill buy later and try it. hope it wont have any errors. let me see what will happen. thanks
