I transfered the program from tivo to my pc, now I want to burn it to a dvd.
I have Sonic MYDVD 6. I can't figure out how to edit it. It looks like the video is in the windows media format. Do I need to convert it to another file type so I can edit?
I have tried Roxio Creator, but the programs runs too slow to operate on my pc.

Quote:I'm presuming you mean .wmv ? How large is the file currently? SUPER is free and will handle .wmv files; set the output container to 'DVD Std. Compliant (VOB)' and select the appropriate aspect ratio etc.

What are the specs of your computer? Transcoding video files is a rather CPU intensive process and likely to be a slow one on lesser hardware, even when dealing with small files.
