I have a dvd r dl and im planning to burn a movie there that is a img file? how do i do this? what softwares do i have to use.I was looking around in the forums and i couldnt find anything.

You just might want to verify that you are using the recommended brand of blank DVD for your burner. Some blanks, after burning will only play back thru your computer and not all DVD players.

With Memorex you are probably okay.Just check the website for your burner manufacturer. A few years ago I was using a Sony burner and Maxell DVDs. Got movies that would only play on Sony players. Took the Maxells back and got Sony DVDs; they played everywhere. They might have fixed this problem but I just don't know.

memorex dl +R dvds are manufactured by Ritek ( in Taiwan)


also if the speed is 8x, then the manufacture process was IS ( inverse stack)as compared to the older 2P process

Unless you have a newer dl burner, with updated firmware, you will not be able to burn the memorex discs successfully.

Thanks I got it...It burned good but it froze for like 2 seconds at certain parts of the movie...Anyone would know why it would do that?
