Not Sure if this was the best place to post this, So Mod please move if not.... I have been DL alot of Movies to My Sony Vaio Laptop which has 2 HD 80GBs each but I am running out of room. Would like to move movie files to an external Hard Drive. There are so many HDs out there and was hoping that some of the members could guide me as to what would be some of the top ones. for now all I would need would be 500GB and dont want to waist more than $100. The Drive would only be used for Storaged as I back up my VOBs to disc. I use WinAVI to convert from AVI to VOB and use ImgBurn to burn to Disc....Thank in advance for all your suggestions....
I have a 300GB LaCie drive (USB only) in use for 18 months. Also a WD Notebook (1TB) that has been used for a year - it has connections for USB,FireWire and sSata. Neither have given problems.
