Hello I would not consider myself a DVD copying pro but not a newbie either. I noticed someone else had the same issue as me in another thread but I did not see a resolution for the problem. So I hope it's alright to start up a new thread as I think I may have a few more details. I am trying to copy 'Insanity' which are workout DVD's from Beachbody. The only software I could find that would do anything at all with these DVD's was Xilisoft DVD Copy Express..so I purchased it. It will rip the DVD's but it seems like it is duplicating VOB files so the end results are huge. Once ripped I was able to use DVD shrink to copy the disc which ended up being nearly 7 GB's...cool I burnt it on a dual layer disc and problem solved. Now some of the discs results are nearing 20 GB's in size. I tried reauthoring using DVD shrink and it will play but the workout is all scrambled up..beginning in the middle of the workout and ending at the beginning. Once ripped from Xilisoft there are nearly 100 VOB files..which if played within DVD shrink (reauthor-mode)display fine but once burned they are scrambled. I know there are probably only a few out there with this 'Insanity' specific issue but can someone tell me what I am dealing with in general. I even tried to delete what seemed to be identical or duplicated files and that was still very large (too large to burn). I need some of the expert advice I read throughout this forum. Thank you.
