can i resurface my swap magic disk at gamecrazy? or will the swap magic be ruined? the lines and stuff on the cd
Just make sure you tell the guys at gamecrazy to go easy on it, not to use anything rougher than a 400~~360 grit. Anything coarser will take the "magic" layer right off, and you'll be left with just an ordinary disc.
@ddp, I suppose 80 would be alright, if you are ultra confident in your polishing skills and you have a "soft" enough touch...Then you need the proper coating. If you use the coarser sanding, then the lacquer coating needs to be higher grade, which gets to be a bit more pricey(the higher you go, the more expensive it gets). That's why I suggested to go the safer/ more economical way, something in the range of 300~~500(not lower than 350-ish). But then again, I am still a newbie when it comes to this stuff...
