cant figure this out, tried googinling.animation on photoshop, help

okay i made a layer then flatten it(so i could paint the objects i made wid the line tool) but then when i click make a duplicate animatin window and erase the second screen. it erasers my first animation screen!!?!?!? why what am i doing wrong?
