I don't know if this the appropriate place for this question. If not tell me where I should ask this question.
I would like to Know if Hide My IP really works. My friends were talking about it and I had never heard of it and this forum is loaded with experts. I just need to know if it works and will it actually hide my IP. Also any good or bad things that you might know about it. I want to do my research first and After Dawn has a great pool of knowledge.
So! Does it work?

Well it will hide your own machine IP but nowadays most sites track the ISP's IP range as well to know from which country you are or to track other things. I am not sure if hide my ip would hide the entire IP range of the ISP. Will try to ask them the question and let you know.

I did notice that there is a definite reduction in speed and it is significant.

right now, I am using the free version and have 7 days before I have to pay. Are you aware of other programs that will hide my ip and are free or cheaper. Hide my IP is $30.
