How do you clear computer memory?

    I keep getting "Not enough memory to complete the updates". I'm trying to update AVG free AV.

    I think is referring to storage space...remove some of the junk files that you have. Empty your "Recycle bin". Run disk cleaner.

    how big is your hard drive & how much of it is free? how much ram do you have & what is available?

    I Have a 150GB HDD with 46.5GB free. 1GB memory installed. I thought I had read on this forum where you could clear memory but I can't seem to find it.

    i know the one you mean but i dont know what it is called.there are several free memory management programs such as freemem out there.you can google this one.
