I dont know if Im phrasing my question correctly but Im trying to figure out if I can burn DVD's on my comp. So far Ive found out that my drive capabilities are only CD+R/RW's. How do I change that? Is that even possible? I just need to know if there is any way around my issue. Any way that I can figure out how to burn on my comp.

    Please help. Thanks.

    Hi !
As far as I know is only 3 kind of Burners (drive) on regular PC's.
1.-The ones that Play and burn CD's only.
2.-The ones that Play and burn DVD's and CD's.
3.-The ones than Play and the latest ones also burn Blu-Ray Disc.

Now as the Burner (Drive) wears out....you just downgrade from +R's to -R's and at the last leg of the Burner life you end up using -RW 'cos it burn a low speed 4x, etc.....
at the end you just need to remplace your Burner (Drive) for a new one (starting at $35 US)

    Hope this help.

moved to correct forum as not a dvd +/-r for newbies issue. driver is software except for golf & a drive is hardware like a dvd burner.
