mod cable modems dns setting help

    I have a sb 5100 modem that is modify, i use comcast dns setting but moving to columbia, sc where they have time warner. but i need help obtaining dns setting

    1. Wrong forum
    2. Contact Time Warner DNS setting should be on their webpage
    3. DNS setting is not in the modem it is in the devices connected to the modem, like your router or PC

    you're right, I meant to say do they have the same mac address

    What (two things) have the same MAC address?

    Cable modems need to be registered with the cable provider. The cable provider needs to have the MAC address in order to activate the service.
