Hey,

I've been trying to find a good place to start up a conversation about the STORA from NetGear and haven't found anyplace which isn't moderated by their staff so here goes.

The Stora (which is a NAS) looks to be running Red Hat linux, but has a very very closed software interface w/the underlining system. I'm trying to find out if anyone else is wondering if they can get root access on the device. It is running apache and has the SSH port 22 open and accepting logins for the user root... I however cant find the root password anywhere. Any one have any advice on how to get the password, or run a man in the middle auth attack.... really any discussion would be good.
