Removing Winamp from Vista

i cant seam to uninstal winamp and it likes ticking me off how can i remove it. i tried add remove even remove file from program files. says i dont have premision and only 1 acount on my pc.

i have vista ultimate 32bit

You can try right clicking on the uninstall icon in the winamp folder, when you right click you'll get a menu, then select run as administrator. That should allow you to do it. Never just delete files from your program files, always use ad/remove in the control panel, or running the uninstall file included with the program. You can screw up your computers registry by just deleting files out of program files. Also, make sure winamp is not running in the background, if it is, it won't allow you to delete it no matter what you do.

tried runing as admistrator still says wont work im relly confused by it and anoyed

turnoff the uac in your account in user accounts in control panel, restart windows then try removing it from add/remove programs in control panel.

You can try two programs that have uninstall programs that are alternatives to what windows has to offer. You can use Easy Cleaner or CCleaner
