Can you tell me how to hook up my vcr thru my cable box so I can watch vhs movies?
My cable box is: Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300 HDC Thanks, edited by ddp

If you have a fairly recent tv what I would do is plug the VCR and the DVR into different ports on the tv.
At the very least you should have a regular cable input as well as a component (yellow, red and white cables) input.
If you only have one input on your tv you should do a serach for your DVR because they have good diagrams and mannuals to help you setup a VCR with the DVR online.
