Other than usb hard disk, exactly what type of usb are we talking about.

If your ps2 is modded in some manner, or you have a cheat disk the ps2 can detect ipod (older versions), or psp, or pen drives.

But if it doesn't dectect them, then the usb is not compatible or its not formatted as FAT32.

All you need to do is download ule 4.40 CD and burn it to CD-R

Launch it with your modchip

Then you need to configure the uLe and save settings

A) The basic button layout:

Please keep in mind that CIRCLE CONFIRMS AND X CANCELS!! You’ll save yourself some frustration…
Triangle: back
Square: reverse mark
Circle: confirm/perform action/ LAUNCHES highlighted ELF
Cross(x): cance/lmark/special action depending on menu
R1: action menu
L1: option menu

B) First settings

Intro

When you launch uLaucnhElf (uLe) for the first time, all you see is a plain screen with 2 entries:

- FILEBROWSER
- CONFIGURE

On the upper left you will also notice the message “failed to load LAUNCHELF.CNF”.

-Select configure
-Select “startup settings”

Then when done with settings, click "OK" to save settings

Now to copy the gamesave

Copy the entire FOLDER to your USB
Then using 'FILEBROWER' in uLe, go to MASS
highlight the folder
Click on R1
Choose Copy
Hit Triangle to browse back to /mc0
Then hit R1
Choose mcpaster and it should copy to your memory card

A lot of PS2 will not read a CD-RW. Even if it can read the CD-RW, those type of discs are very hard on the PS2 laser.

You are better to burn to CD-R.

I find burning the uLe DVD ISO works best for me always.
