Boy, am I screwed up. After a whole weekend spent on this (after many weekends of planning and reading up), I'm dead in the water. The modbo is installed but I can only play original PS2 games and original Region 1 dvds. My goal is to play ps2 backups and region 1 dvds...

In my last attempt to make my work perfect, I really messed up the SX point on the board... It looks like the tiny component that was there is now... gone... yep. Is there any way to get passed THAT?

I was going to ask for help in finding an alternate 3.3V source on that board (based on the threads I've read) but now that the SX point is messed up, is that a moot point?

I've used 30 gauge wrapping wire throughout and a precision Antex soldering gun with a magnifying glass. Until my SX point blunder, I felt pretty good about my work (I practiced some on old computer parts before plunging in).

At this point, any help is welcome. Can I recoup from the SX point mess? Is there an alternate 3.3V source I can use? Should I go to a thicker wire for that power connection?
