Hi

I recently bought a component cable for my ps2 so i could use it on my 32inch Sony LCD. I have a phat ps2 (pal) and i use swap magic 3.6 (pal) to play my back up games.

The component cable runs fine when i play the original ps2 disk but when i use swap magic i boot the game up but a portion of the screen is missing at the bottom of every game.

I have tried all the display settings for the ps2 4:3, 16:9 etc. I have tried to load as pal and ntsc but with no luck.

Is there anything i can do to fix this or maybe a different cable i can use other than the rgb cable i used before?

Use swapmagic to load a freemcboot installer CD. This will give you a lot more control over your system, and might fix the problem right off.
