so a couple days ago i bought an external hard drive and i backed up most of my stuff on it
then i tough that the ps2 could only use fat32 and it was ntfs so i made a 20gb partition fat32 i used ulanchelf to test it and it recognized yesterday i wanted to see somethings on sms and it would recognized it but it was like it was empty even though it had a 700 mb file inside i have tried puttig a USDB.irx file in my sms folder on my memory card and no luck so what can i do
i just want to watch movies with it using sms
(by the way formatting the hole thing to fat32 is out of a question since i do have some large files there)

That FAT32 partition must be the first partition on the External hdd.

There is no need to install any USBD.IRX files on the USB drive

Is it an avi file you put in the USB partition. Try another movie file and see what happens.
