Can video from digital camera becomes jpg files?

I've a video from my digital camera. Some scenes I would like to develope to photos. Anyway to make it to jpg files? If yes, any freeware to do it?

My kids use a program called AVS Video Converter 6. Converts almost any video format to any other video format.

I've used it to put movies onto the family's IPODs, works well.

I think you can capture photos in your videos with Windows Movie Maker. at least you dont have to download anything
