Whats the best digital camcorder with Night Mode/IR.?

I just looking for digital camcorder which has the night mode with the infra red capturing pictures even in complete darkness. I don't want anything too pricey - under $450 - infact nearer $400. I was looking at the Sony SR36 but the JCV Everio caught my eye. Please suggest me which one is the best for me.
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
