Bought a Samsung Hdtv Full hd. series 5 46 inch telly. set the tv up its great have to say. so set the x box and the x box 360 up. x box 360 works perfect on hdmi and on the scart lead. as for the Old Xbox wont work at all Im stumped. tryed it off the avi cable yellow red and white nothing even tryed it off a avi lead scart adapter noting at all. can't figure it out lads can you guys help me ? also the x box is modded ith 40 games preloaded onto it. now before I got the new telly we threw it into a old telly but the scart adaptor was damaged and we heard the sound come up but no picture. only bouht this modded x box last thur. hope your man didnt screw me.
the xbox is modded. not sure I bought it last thur. went to plug it in and noting is comin up. would it make a deference what dash Im using. will it work with the tv or will I have to to hook it up to another tv and change it.
It wouldnt make a difference... It seems to be screwing up. There could be tons of different problems if there is no display. You tried different cords, so that rules that out. If the xbox is modded, it might have ftp going, but no video is showing up. If so, I would try to hook it with ethernet to your computer, ftp in, and recopy the dashboard. Thats just my two cents.
got it working guys. it was the leads the guy gave me with the console. got my mates old x box cables and its working perfect now. thanks lads for the help.
