I got a free(dead) xbox last week, and thanks to this site, I not only have it working again, but it's softmodded and I can now transfer files from my computer no problem(except for the insanely long transfer time..)
I've played entirely too much Burnout Revenge, and now my thumbs and wrists are killing me. So, I figured while I take the day off to ice my swollen joints, I'd say thank you to everyone who has posted tutorials and replied to help topics, and to C4RN1, who helped out absurdly too much.
I've followed instructions from the internet before, but it's never been this easy. Granted, there were a couple problems, but they were either A) because of hardware incompatibilities, like an unlockable hdd, or B) EUEs, like skipping a line while checking my FTP settings.. Stupid DHCP settings.. But almost all of the instructions I've followed here were almost dummy proof, and the ones that weren't had the solution a few replies later.
