Problem after I ftped game to XBOX

I have got a game called Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood twice (from 2 different source). After I finish got the iso image, I extract the image content to a folder and ftp the folder to my XBOX. I then reboot the machine and start the game. The game starts, showing the first two screens, however, when the animated logo of the developer is about to come up, the game hangs. This has happened to e twice. The first time I got the game, I thought I had a bad copy, Now I get again from another source and get the same crap. Can someone knowledgeable tell me WTF is going on and how to rectify it. Thanks

what did you extract it with, and how did you patch it to run from the hdd?

try burning it and see if it works .. we can take it from there.

I extracted using cxboxtool 2.07. I don't patch my games before and they run perfectly well from the harddisk. My Xbox DVD drive is bad.

sometimes people upload the same game to multiple websites under different screen names.
