hi there. i am a bit new to network sharing.. however a quick learner i have installed xbmc using slayer disc 2.7 all the functions are working but now.. i would like to add internet to it.. so i can check the weather and watch some trailers etc.. and also access my computer to save space on the xbox hard drive btw... i have windows xp.. and DSL/MODEM currently i am able to ftp to my computer.. using a cross-over cable .. and the flashfxp software for ftp i use static ip address i have tried connecting a straight cable to my modem to xbox. its showing me a IP address but no functions such as weather are working.. i have my IP address on the xbox to be automatic (DHPC) i have searched many places on the net.. couldnt find a answer that goes from A to Z.. any help would be appreciated thank you
