XBMC networking

i cant seen to connect to my comp through xbmc i go to smb network and it asks for a name and password but i dont know what they are is there any way around im using a linksys router if it matters

 

if i could help i would buds but im trying to figure out how to network the old xbox to my pc im old school lol but if know how to do that can u tell me so i can do it? thanks

Nup there's no way round it you'll need to set them up or find out what they are,start with the forum search below the banner near top of page,easiest method & less of a headache is direct connection with a crossover ethernet cable

name: xbox
pass: xbox

as posted EVERYWHERE over and over.. and in the documentation for the dash (which retards never bother to read.. because they are too damn lazy and ignorant and want me to wipe their asses for them!!)

for the smb share on whatever pc (if trying to access from xbox)... how the hell do we know? .. YOU set that up.
