xbox connection to new modem not working

    I'm totally new to this, I don't play xbox. I just changed modems for our internet and added a spliter. Everything works great except I cannot get the connection to work with the xbox. I've updated the IP addresses to match the new modem and even reset the settins and reset the modem. Still no connection. Please help a lost mom before my son comes home to no xbox online LOL...

    map the setup. details and how you made a splitter on your internet very need to know things.
