Hey guys I bought a coup;e controllers a while back for my original xbox and the person gave me a xbox dvd controller with the game controllers. I just want to know how I can make this controller work with my xbox. You know how to sync them. It is most likely very simple but I do not know how to do this and thanks for your input.

You plug the little black dongle into one of the ports on the front.. that's all there is to it.

You lost me on that one my friend. I am not talking about a wireless game controller, I am talking about a remote control like a tv remote control except this remote control has dvd functions for the original xbox. Is this what you thought I was talking about or did you think I meant the remote. I have dongle for my wireless game controllers but not for the dvd remote controller.

Ok all kid'n aside the xbox 1 was never wireless so there is no infra red port on it so naturally needs a dongle, not sure why you'd bother with a remote tho i don't even bother with mine the controllers do it all

Edit:by the way varnull works on xboxe's & comps so you can pretty much trust most of what she says since she does know what she's talk'n about, but be warned NEVER & i mean NEVER use a swear word like "windows" when she's around *mutley laugh*

I think the plural is xbox.. like sheep ... can be one or many.

I quite like my remote and dongle.. it has had the same batteries for the last 6 years.. but maybe that's because it lurks around somewhere. I never use it... xbmc plays all my media.
