if its sly uk you are after any sat dish will do so long as its pointing at 28.2e astra satellite. you do not need a min sly sub just a cs line if you wish to get the none fta channels.

The info is encrypted and cannot to seen,
The info is encrypted so once Pin locked it's not visible, this is obviously to protect you supplier's DYNDNS address from becoming public and possibly attracting DDos attacks.

They will no doubt have a log of your box serial No paired to the server login/user.

    Hi guys

I wonder if anyone can help. I thought I'd give one of these Blade's a go since everyone seems pretty happy with their performance. I've come across a couple of issues...

    1) When scanning, it's only picking up 660 TV channels, I've read that it should be 800+ (on Sat 28.2E). Also, a lot of them (all music channels) come up as 'Bad or No Signal'. I'm pretty sure my dish is ok as I get all channels fine when scanning on the dm. Weak tuner in the box maybe?

    2) cccam disconnected. Yesterday I left the box on and it took around 20 minutes for the cccam settings to be picked up. Prior to that, it just said 'Disconnected' in the server list. Is there anything I can do to make this connect immediately?

Great thread, I'd appreciate any advice.

    Cheers

I get 1023 channels, I would put it down to your dish - connections - length/quality of coax maybe of perhaps like you said a week tuner but I haven't heard of that with this STB so far.

As for the connection, mine connects instantly, was it a new cline that may have not been live at the time? I know some don't become activated straight away.

1: im getting 855 channels in total (Manchester)

2: my server/cline connections are set to "ON" so whenever i reboot my box, it automatically connects to server within 5 seconds and i get my channels working immidiately after that.

If your having connection problems, that could be down to either your local isp, or the cline server?, not sure there so im just guessing on that bit

Thanks for your replies. When doing the scan, do I need to change any of the freqs, etc? I just have it set to 28.2E and Auto scan

In scan settings switch to manual scan.Scroll down to transponders and try each frequency just by clicking on them,no need to scan. You will see the signal strenght turn to red if there is nothing coming in on that tp.I had a box with these frequencies showing no strenght 10729,10758,10788,10876,10896,11038,11642,11740,11758,118956,11895
    11934,12012,12168,12226,12246,12266,12285,12324,12363,12382,12402
12441,12460,12480.I returned the box and was told it was a faulty tuner.

Cheers for that info. I have the same issue with 22 of the frequencies you've listed above. I'll have a word with the seller tomorrow. Cheers

this thread simply annoys me. many involved know far better than to be propagating what is suggested in this thread. its simply daft to think that you will get a quality link to a pay server connection service that has to move its servers on a regular basis. just look at the kv game. cop on. the advice has been posted many times. are you in need of a repeat or maybe someone could explain how this post is in fact benefiting anybody. i have said it over and over again, you connect to a pay server you will pay the consequences

fintanni, this thread has nothing to do with payservers. We're merely discussing what appear to be weak tuner issues in the Blade box.

i have my blade set at 1080p as i have a 1080p tv but i have noticed through the info(via the ok button) on the hd channels signal is 1080i maybe cause all hd tvs are not 1080p so they send the hd signal at 1080i.

true, but i see no reason why the blade software support team cannot integrate oscam into their image.
