ash on ferguson 150

hi all,i have ash on my ferguson 150 ariva box. how to get rid of it and the software for it.i don't have the connection on my pc for a null modem cable,as i will have to use a USB. any info would be great,,, jhaye2x

 

Then you need to find one that has a null modum cable, the rs232 to usb adapter are crap and you may have probs with the drivers for it, go to the fergoson site below for the tool

Eprom upgrade tool and the latest genuine firmware,

Connect the Null modem cable from PC to Box.

Load up the Ali Flash tool (Eprom tool)
Load Abs file allcode+bootloader. (this is the latest genuine firmware)
Select Port: Com1
Press Connect on tool
Turn on box at back
Wait for Flash to finish.

easiest way to sort this is... if you got or can get 2nd box, connect both together with null modem cable, with the box with ash on it switched on.... then turn other box on, it sends firmware to ash box, takes about 5min to run... but fixes the problem 100%
