Is it possible to anyone can help me to find more info regarding setup and what else is involved to setup.
I have informed I need to get a card and need to join subscription etc.

Thats an excellent tut HiTeck...but i wanted to know if NEWCAMD525 is the same as just NEWCAMD. I looked at this c/s website and they do not support cccam, but they do support NEWCAMD525, and since the blade supports NEWCAMD also, wanted to know if they are the same protocols?

guys, i have a Dreambox 500s that am useing to watch freeview channels through the sat dish i do not have a sub with sly,
does the Blade 7000 HD sat box give you the HD channels as on the freeview HD box like BBC1 HD etc or do you need a HD sub from sly to watch the freeview HD channels.

most subs come with all hd channels m8, and you do not need to get sub from sly. try google, with "Card Sharing" and just try some out first before you buy, most will give you free 24/48 hours test lines to see what their like, if channels stutters or freezez.

With the Blade HD i can get all the normal free HD channels like BBC1 HD, ITV1 HD, Channel 4 HD, without any sub. is that what your after? then the answer is a YES. The sub clears all other HD channels.

As above, sky has a little over 50 HD channels but some of them are the sky box office channels. On the blade I get 49 HD channels at present.

Just google techkings = see for yourself.

bewilders me why someone would buy a blade just to watch freeview channels when its so simple and cheap to get alot more out of the blade.
and yes gerrard newcamd on the blade is newcamd 5.25.

look it up in google, then just ask them (email) if your required channels are part of the package.
