Same as the krypt and SV6, its a lan based budget box, based on the Sv6 service, its non HD and also autosorts etc as the others, not a bad box box but as its based on the same service as SV6, it will or can go up and down at the same rate, pic quality is very good as is the ease of use, skywonder have them on their site for sale if anyone want to look at them @ 96 quid

Thanks guys, at 96 pounds, even a year out of it would save a few quid, might be encouraged to try one.

Bear in mind, it runs on the SV service, so, it will be up and down as per the Sv6 when things go awary, but for that price, ya cant complain

firmware is needed and also a small bit of changing, based whether yer on, N1 or n3, a simple EMU change
Igts flashed in the same way as a SV, via the usb, you download the Firmware and then onto a stick, insert into the box when off, turn the box on and then use the onscreen menu to to the flash
DDIGITAL DUO BOX ONLY
In case of N1
How to make it EMU “ON”
Menu then Utilty à “2222” and make it sure whether “ON” or not. It should be on.
In case of N3
Network Enable / Disable
Menu à “8989” : Enable
Menu à “9898” : Disable
Firmware Version Ddigital-duo_2.12.ups

Ok received box and had it up and running 15 minutes later and it only took that long cos i'm a slow reader.Good picture quality, responds well to remote and as for ease of use, believe me, if you knew how competent i am round technology you'd understand how simple this is to set up and operate. All in all i'd give it a 9 out of 10 for ease of use, quality and price. Of course that's just my opinion but even if i only get 6 months out of this it will save me more than enough.Oh and it's FTA when it arrives as i purchased it from a reputable dealer.

Hi guys
Could you confirm how this works. Would I need to connect it by LAN cable to Router/modem and then by USB to TV and does it need to be connected to modem/router all the time? Cheers in advance

plug the box into yer router using network cable, and then plug the box to yer tv's scart. and yes you need to leave jacked to the net forever.
theres no USB to tv...never heard of such a thing. my tv has USB but thats just for memory pens to allow music and mp3's

As they're on SV server does this mean they'll be obsolete after 1 year like SV6 and we'll then have to buy a new one.
