has anyone managed to get a satellite usb tuner work on a dm800. have a buddy who wants dual tuner so he can watch and record at the same time

The Sundtek sticks are supposed to work, but I don't have a dreambox, so this is not a recommendation, only a hint in a direction:

I myself use this device on Ubuntu Linux with a current kernel + current driver sources from the linux-media tree:

Don't know what kernel the Dreambox uses.
