hi i have a free to air box and the dialog box is always on the screen.there is also another box in the top right hand corner with a large blue dot with the numbers 8888 next to it.i must change the channels using the controls on the box as i cannot change the channels using the remote.the only buttons that work on the remote are the info button and the recall button.when i change channels the box does a search for channel 8888 every 2- 3 mins. a friend of mine said that it may be looking for a HD channel.any ideas any possible solutions.thank you

no one can help or advise when you dont mention the box? the model? Have you tried a factory reset of the box?
