    Hi,

I am having a problem with my Kryptview .....,

I have just returned from Holidays and when i switched on my TV and Kryptview I cant seem to get the Kryptview to turn on .

There is no lights on the front , I have tried different wall sockets etc but cant get it to work .
What i did notice but is when i have both TV and Kryptview hooked up when i do switch the Kryptview view to the ON position (at rear of box) the TV switches to the proper EXT channel so the box is sending some signal (not channels) but still no lights on the front .

Before i send it back (to UK ) could it be something simple i could try myself or would i null and void my warrenty if i open it up.

    Ta in advance.
    M.

(p.s) Where is Fergusrb gone ... seems to be banned , how could they ban him , he was a gent ?

    Cactiikid,

Thanks for the quick response ....

I changed the batteries on the remote (1st thing) but no luck .

The front of the Kryptview shows no life at all , i am nearly sure that there is always at least 1 green dot when in standby , I dont even have this , agian when i turned on the power from back the proper EXT channel came up so something is happening ... if i am missing something let me know

yes u should get something,i had seen the same problem, was the box moved as with some boxes the wiring loom to front panel was not secure and u need to remove cover to check ribbons are secure WITH POWER OFF/UNPLUGGED dont want you to get straight hair lol,if they are secure and still dont work send it back to dealer still under warranty yes.

    Cactikid,

Have it open all looks fine ... all ribbon cables in place , i popped off the front PCB (with digital display attached) and that also looks O.K .... Think i may be emailing a shipping it back in the morning .

    Ah well
