bband is for packet data, not chans, so a 1 meg line would suffice, but bear in mind, if your using the net and also for your packet data for your sat box on a low spped, may interfere

Is this an american website www.dealextreme.com , reason I ask is because will one get caught for duty on any purchase if it is shipped from the states

depends in Ireland if customs open the packet or not they have Custom's in normal mail centers in Ireland as well so he can still be caught for VAT @21%
