THIS IS THE LATEST FILE FOR THE COMBO HD UNIT
Load the GrooveRider File file on to a Memory stick,
then insert the Memory stick in the front USB port on the receiver.
Now press the menu button on the remote now go to Accessory and highlight USB,
then press the OK button on the remote,
you will now see the GrooveRider File in the USB menu.
Go to the file and press the OK button on the remote then select S/W +All Data Update to load file.
When the file as been loaded then go to Utility and Factory (DB)
Reset do a Factory Reset. The job is now done.
Now
Go -to Key Edit menu Hidden function(Toggle method) Press “8989” on the RCU on the menu (Accessory)
: if you Autoupdate is “off” you should switch it to “on” to make it enabled.
File removed due to a prob with it will update when a new one is available

is the grooverider file the 1 i need to access the channels on my box? if so, how do i gain a copy of the file..?

MAKE SURE YOU LOAD THE GROOVERIDER FILE FIRST THEN THE BOOT FILE FOLLOWING THE INFORMATION BELOW
How to Upgrade.
1) file name : “GrooveRider_HD_Combo_F3.50_1118.uad “ Upgrade with “ S/W + All Data Upgrade” first.
2) then Upgrade again “Boot_V0021 “ ( type : sw upgrade )
3) AC on/off on the back then factory re-set..
Check system information ““LDR:Ver 00.21”
FIRMWARE HERE
BOOT LOADER HERE

i think people are having problems getting it to work on cable when it is on sat side,maybe tut needs an update.

Now then all, does the combo get all channels and autoroll just as my starview1 cos i fancy one if so to go with my new tv.

I apologise for this, but I am still having difficuties downloading and accessing this file....
would you (if possible) write me a step-by-step guide from the beginning on how and where to find and download this file, then to actually upload and install onto my box.
Any help and suggestions would be very much appreciated.
All it keeps saying is....windows does not recognise this file, please use the web to find and open this file. I have tried and am unsuccesful at finding it.

you do not open the file

there is no loader for the combo box and the files are not rared either just load them on to the usb stick and follow the instructions

go back and look at e45 tut,he says to load file onto usb no zip or rar files.

hi i have just got a hd combo after loadimg it asks me to open key i press menu 8989 but nothing happens cun any one helpme

HI sorry to be a pain!
i have loaded the new firmware and boot file re-aligned dish to w1 turned on key codes.
recieving cable channels (great) only getting FTA channels on W1.
do i need to down load softcams? if so which ones? Where do i get them from? And what channels can i expect?

Greetings all...
I have tried installing the file "GrooveRider_HD_Combo_F3[1].50_1118.uad" to the HD combo box however it replies at 20%... update failed, please check USB.
Ive tried deleting and replacing the file, using a different USB source, but still not luck.. any suggestions ??

i have the same problem.when i try to upload from usb it loads 20 percent then says failed check usb memory .....can anyone help

hi there..just passing on the latest news...theres a new file out within next few days for the starview combo hd...its supposed to be a fix for the nag3...only for this box though..its not hearsay,as most will come on and say,but its from the manufacturers themselves..we will have to wait and see..

I'm not going to slag you off at all mate but it seems you have been told a total lie. Maybe someone is trying to drum up trade of these boxes before Christmas.
And if the manufacturers whisper a word of them releasing such a fix expect them to be shut down and hauled before the courts quick smart. Which has been happening on the sat scene for a while.

I think your confusing CS with Patch/Emu fixes.
