New Update available via the net on your boxes update now
menu >>>> installation >>>> S/W UPDATE allow box time to reboot before touching anything
make sure you factory default your box and do a new scan after updating firmware on your box
after 1 week from the time this file has come out people who have NOT updated their boxes to the new software there box will no longer work after that so get your software updated or have blank screens

Any idea what this update is supposed to fix e45? It looks like its just changed the mapping to the server. I thought it might bring back more channels any news on this? you would have thought that getting ssp 1,2,3 working they would have at least got ssp4 working as well and the movies too if not anything else.
The kv team thus far have done a good job getting the service up and running, but an unsettled viewing service and lack of channels like ssp 1 to 4 and sk movies may deter or put people off the kv scene altogether. Many people who I have bought these kv boxes are frustrated as they haven't had a good 6 months out of it and obviously are exploring the sat side. So please KV team if nothing else at least put on the full ssp and movies service, nothing else matters. Thanks KV team

Thanks for the update/news E45.
I just done the update about 25 mins ago...and i've notice the option for checking the ip address is no longer there on the new update today....before you could go to systems and pressing the green button on remote it would tell your ip...but that dont work no more. espn is on again after the update...it wasnt working this morning....thanks again.

Thanks for the info again lads. My Dads kv is working fine but freezes for a few seconds now and again. Would a update sort that out?

thats why the update is there for to be used and also do a factory default on your box

Makes no difference (shame), still freezing constantly on my sons box.

Just updated the software and my box and it did play for about 15mins and since then its just completely died! Ive just got the scrambled message on my screen. Help!

MY SSP2 is down and so is some various channels such as good food. the last time I had to do a factory reset and scan all the channels again to get it to work! Is there a reason for this?

ssp2 is on channel 512 virgin moving channels about when you do a rescan make sure you fully go back to default and then do scan or put the box on power search by putting on standby for 30/40 mins
