Kryptview Firmware update 24\03\2011. Do a S\W Update in the installation section of the menu.

hi gerrard u do it through ur remote press menu installion the s/w update and the rest it will do its self not sure what its for though must be 4 a good reason though

does the update take long?

 

780 boxes are down

 

update take around 45 seconds, 2/4 mins to get everything going again...

just wait for the KV servers again...then try the update

 

Any one got any ideas how to get new firmware for A780 boxes
Have tried s/w update no good, teesside area

 

I dont think the new software will fix fault...most people have the new update including myself...still no channels...the fault is external. and i havent seen this new update on any forums for downloading...so only way to update box is via the box itself...and you can only do that when kv is up and running again.

 

i managed to download the update yesterday,still no channels though.is it not worth trying a rescan like i had to with the old eurovox
