is it a genuine box from your supplier / Provider?
Did you try a different scart?
Have you tried using audio leads? (red, white etc)

did you replace the scart and is this a box from your provider?
Some boxs have the audio cables, just seeing if yours did

aah! it could be due to the changeover to nag.3 so
which means no more free tv on that box if that is the case
"have you got a new card through your door for your sub box"
here is the latest list of areas that have changed over or to be changed over
link
also did you change the scart lead
and did you try and rescan the channels again

the link i gave you if you live in any of those areas what it means basicaly is no more free tv on that box
but try this first
if you have a dvd player take the scart lead of that, and replace it with the 1 going from the back of your box to the tv (make sure it is pushed in tight to back of box & tv
if you go into the menu settings on your box with the remote
it should have a factory reset and then you should be able to install your channels with network search,
but as i dont have a v*rgin box i dont know which way the menu works myself also because it is a chiped box i am not 100% sure if you do a factory reset that it wont totaly screw your box up
can some1 confirm on whether its ok to try a factory reset on this box

well the box wont even boot now, its stuck on AP:52, im gunna leave it on fora while to see what happens.
ive been in the engineers menu and fiddled about with the default frequency, it was 643mhz originaly, at the bottom of the screen it says "found DMA's" or something like tha with yes next to it. i knows when a frequency wont work because no pops up instead of yes, so i put the frequency back to 643mhz, turned it on, fine but still no sound. turned it off, went back into engineers menu and it said no instead of yes. i think the box is completly f**ked lol
