keep autoroll turned off until we get a new bin that fixes autoroll. don't know if the new bin fixes autoroll yet because i haven't tried it but the current codes are good!

I hope all this dissing isnt at me, im new to this and just learning the ropes, i dont feel like i am owed anything i am very lucky to have coolsat, im just trying to learn the new ropes thats all. sorry if i offened anyone.

no, that's ok. just turn echostar autoroll off, punch the new keys as required and wait for a couple of days for all of this to get ironed out. if you don't know how to do that, then we'll tell you, no problem.

sure no problem, the only problem i have right now is the people who are going crazy about autoroll while they can get the channels right now by doing it manually, i'll be more than glad to help you if your rcvr stops getting channels, but if you can get the channels, you're in the same boat that the rest of us are in until it gets fixed, it may take a couple of days. By the way, what type of rcvr are you using?

I think billo is right, if it ain't broke, why fix it?, input a few things for now and don't cry about it. I am new to all of this also. If ya sit back, read, and do research you can figure things out.

txmap:you have the right idea and the right attitude. These boxes can be broke, but you have to work at it. This whole hobby thing is all about testing, that is the fun part. We all need not to panic. I have other options other than free tv. This is nice, but it is not the only tv I have.

keys worked for a while but went down again... got it up once but now its not responding.... not sure what i'm doing wrong. bell exp. using coolsat 6000

yeah i'm using coolsat 5000 and i changed my keys about 2 hours ago and then they busted again any new keys out advice??? im new to this forum btw thank you for your help in advance

that's 3 hits today! haha! everytime they do that it's costing them a lot of money. autoroll will fix it but it only goes to show you how much they want to discourage us, they'll go broke if they keep that up! haha
